Donations and Appeals

As our community grows, so do its responsibilities. Brixton Mosque and Islamic Cultural Centre stands not only as a place of prayer, but as a refuge  and a support system. Through our redevelopment appeal, we aim to strengthen and expand the masjid in stages so it can continue serving present and future generations, by the permission of Allah. At the same time, we answer a sacred duty entrusted to us by Allah and His Messenger ﷺ: caring for the vulnerable. Your donations help support widows and orphans within our community, in Gambia, and beyond, providing essential aid, dignity, and hope in times of hardship, including those affected by the ongoing suffering in Gaza. We also appeal for our Funeral Fund, so that no Muslim family is left alone or burdened when facing the certainty of death, and every believer can be laid to rest with dignity according to Islamic rites, regardless of their financial means. Please give generously and help us continue this amanah.

Redevelopment Appeal

As our community is growing and the needs of the community are also increasing, we are asking the brothers and sisters to help support the mosque attending to our redevelopment appeal. The proposed redevelopment is available on the website and we’re asking for people to donate so we can reach out to XYZ to continue the with the redevelopment. This is to be done in stages as outlined on the website.

Widows and Orphans

One of the greatest things Allah and His Messenger have asked us to do is take care of the needy(We can put an Ayat or a hadith in this section) we are currently appealing for widows and orphans in our community and Gambia as well as beyond. Our goal is to reach XYZ amount to help build expand the facilities in Gambia and to support the numerous numbers of widows especially with thecurrent state in Gaza. Please donate to the below details and increase your reward by Allah.

Funeral
Appeal

Every soldier takes death, and we do not know when it will come but it is the destroyer of pleasure Unfortunately as it is not predicted Death is always a stressful situation for those that are left behind and often, they are not able to fully render the proper finances in order to have an Islamic based funeral. We are therefore urgently appealing to increase our fund where we can help those who cannot afford to bury their loved ones, please can you donate to the numbers below.
